Fly

Od czasu gdy wpadły mi w ręce alfabetowe kostki Tima Holtza, miałam straszną ochotę zamknąć kilka z nich w formie napisu w jednym ze szklanych kloszy z tej samej serii Idea-ology. Trzy kostki mieszczą się w kloszu doskonale, wybrałam więc słowo 'fly' i stworzyłam projekt, którego myślą przewodnią był wzrost i rozwijanie skrzydeł w przygotowaniu do lotu. Klosz postanowiłam odwrócić do góry nogami i przykleić na 'suficie' za pomocą Glossy Accents.

Ever since I got my hands on Tim Holtz alpha dice, I've been wanting to trap a few of them in an Idea-ology glass dome to create a word. Three letters fit perfectly into one dome, so I chose the word 'fly' and created a project around the theme of growth and spreading your wings in preparation for flight. I decided to use the dome upside down and glued it to the 'ceiling' with Glossy Accents.

W shadowboxie 'rośnie' też brązowy i niebieski mech chrobotek, a po ścianach rozprzestrzenia się bliżej nieokreślona substancja stworzona z masy strukturalnej i lekko pokolorowana mgiełkami Distress w kolorach Vintage Photo i Stormy Sky.

Caribou moss also 'grows' inside the shadowbox, in shades of brown and blue, and an unidentified substance made with modeling paste spreads across the walls, lightly coloured with Vintage Photo and Stormy Sky Distress Sprays.
